To begin with let us establish the fact that for a Christian who believes in the Bible, Israel is in the Land by Divine Right. Popularity polls, political tactics, or media bias are fickle and cannot sustain the solid foundation needed to stand with Israel in today’s world.

Standing on the Bible may not be a politically-correct reason to support the Jewish state, but it cannot be otherwise. Even the well-intentioned efforts to “recognize” Jewish ownership of the Land based on Israel’s enduring historical presence is merely the result of the broken connection between the Jewish people and the Bible. It is only in the modern secular era that the Jews themselves have begun to turn to their history, rather than sacred Scripture, to justify their place in this Land. But history is a fickle landlord in a post-truth world where subjective historical narratives are used to create political myths that can “prove” anything.
