The head of the Iranian army on Sunday said his country had developed an advanced suicide military drone with a single stated purpose: to attack the Israeli cities of Haifa and Tel Aviv.

Speaking to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, Brig.-Gen. Kioumars Heydari, commander of all ground forces, said the new Arash-2 drone was developed to “hit the depths of Israel… is intended to hit Haifa and Tel Aviv.”

Speaking at an anti-terror conference in Tel Aviv on Monday, the head of Israel’s Mossad spy agency, David Barnea, accused Iran of “abusing” Islam to justify its “strategic and methodical use of state terrorism.”

Barnea said that Israel had recently “foiled dozens of Iranian attacks” that targeted Israelis and Jews abroad.

The Mossad chief further warned that any revised nuclear deal Iran signs with Western powers will not grant it immunity from Israeli action.

  1. Vernon Ryan says:

One has to wonder if the new drones had updates from weapons left in Afghanistan recently.
