(TPS) Or Eshkar, who died of injuries from a terror attack in Tel Aviv, was laid to rest on Tuesday.

Family and friends attended the funeral at Moshav Nes Harim, in the Judean Hills outside Jerusalem.

Eshkar’s partner, Lee Menachem, wore a shirt that had been worn by Eshkar during his last Iron Man Triathlon competition in October.

“A few months ago I told my girlfriends that already on the first date I felt after three minutes that we had a soul connection,” she said.

“You gave me a taste of what true love is. You loved me like no one has ever loved me in my life. You gave me confidence. You proved to me that there is a different kind of love. No one in my life has ever seen me the way I was when I was with you. You are the most amazing person I have ever known in my life,” Menachem said.

The 32-year-old Eshkar and his two friends, Rotem Mansano and Michael Osdon were the three people injured when Mutaz Salah al-Khawaja opened fire on people sitting at a cafe on Tel Aviv’s busy Dizengoff Street on March 9. Khawaja was shot and killed at the scene.

Eshkar, who worked as a wedding DJ, died on Monday.

The family donated Eshkar’s organs.
