As Christians around the world are praying for the success of the new US peace initiative to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, one church is promising bloodshed. An assembly of 13 Catholic Bishops representing more than 200,000 Christians in Israel, the Palestinian territories, Jordan and Cyprus called an emergency meeting to respond to the peace initiative.

In an exclusive interview, Israel Today asked Mr. Wadie Abunassar, local spokesman for the Bishops’ Assembly, why the church is promising that Jewish blood will be shed in response to Trump’s Deal of the Century.

The statement

The church’s brief statement offered nothing that was news.

“Peace-to-Prosperity doesn’t give dignity and rights to the Palestinians… it endorses almost all the demands of the Israeli(s) and its political agenda… does not take into considerations the right demands of the Palestinian people to their homeland, rights and dignified life.”

All typical fare as regards the ad nauseum reports issued by the Palestinian-dominated church’s leadership over the years.
