The Israeli Air Force carried out a broad wave of strikes on Tuesday, including a direct hit on the Iranian regime’s main explosives production facility in Isfahan.
According to the IDF, the site was used to develop and manufacture explosives for multiple weapons systems. It had already been targeted during Operation Rising Lion in June 2025, but Israeli intelligence identified renewed regime efforts to restore activity there. So Israel struck again.
That is the relevant point. This is not symbolic retaliation. It is systematic attrition.
Alongside the strike in Isfahan, the IAF, acting on intelligence direction, hit dozens of additional regime targets with more than 120 munitions. Those targets included ballistic missile launch sites, weapons production facilities, and air defense systems.
The message is straightforward: Israel is intensifying pressure not only on Iran’s launch capability, but on the infrastructure that makes sustained attacks possible in the first place.

The Israeli military also said that it struck the main facility for the production of long-rang naval cruise missiles in Tehran. These missiles are used, among other things, to threaten international shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a separate statement, the IDF said that since the launch of Operation Roaring Lion on February 28, conducted in coordination with the United States, the IAF has flown more than 600 combat sorties against Iran’s ballistic missile array. That array has been used to threaten Israel, Gulf states, and American interests across the region.
The cumulative effect, according to the military, has been severe. Israeli intelligence now assesses falling morale, absenteeism, and attrition within IRGC ballistic missile units, based on cross-checked intelligence, including sources inside Iran.
