“I strongly urge our government that whatever happens to Israel, we should always support that government,” Alaiasa Sepulona Moananu, a member of the Samoan parliament, told his nation.

As belligerent criticism towards Israel increases around the world, the Jewish nation is thankful for friends anywhere, if only from a tiny Polynesian island in the Pacific Ocean. The island state, which has approximately 200,000 inhabitants, continues to be one of Israel’s most fervent and committed supporters in the United Nations.
