“Our prayer is that this project can raise awareness of the threat of antisemitism and strengthen the ties between Christians and Jews,” said Scott Phillips, executive director of Passages, an organization that brings American Christian students to Israel. StandWithUs, an organization that enables people of all ages to fight misinformation antisemitism, helped produced the song with Christians and Jews hoping to bring healing to pain of increasing global antisemitism. Grammy-award winning US Christians together with popular Jewish Israeli musicians recorded the song called “The Blessing Israel.”
The song sung in Hebrew and English is based on the Aaronic Blessing from the Book of Number chapter 6.
“Our prayer at Passages is that this project can raise awareness of the threat of antisemitism and strengthen the ties between Christians and Jews and promote a deeper understanding of both Biblical and modern Israel,” Phillips said.
