Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the immediate resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries to the Gaza Strip on Sunday night, effectively ending a blockade that had halted supplies following the collapse of ceasefire talks with Hamas. The decision, announced during a security cabinet meeting, comes under significant pressure from the United States and has sparked sharp criticism from many members of Netanyahu’s coalition.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Israel will allow a “basic quantity of food” to enter Gaza to prevent a starvation crisis, with deliveries expected to resume through the Kerem Shalom Crossing in the southern Gaza Strip. The move reverses a policy initiated in early March when Netanyahu halted aid after Hamas rejected the Witkoff framework for continued negotiations.

The resumption was approved without a cabinet vote, despite demands from National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who argued for stricter measures against Hamas, including targeting their accumulated aid reserves. Critics like Likud lawmaker Moshe Sa’ada labeled the decision “insanity,” arguing it undermines Israel’s military pressure on Hamas, which the Security Cabinet recently voted to intensify.

“On the one hand, you send five divisions to war to destroy the enemy, and on the other hand, you provide the same enemy with food and supplies, which allows him to survive and recruit new terrorists to attack our soldiers,” Sa’ada reportedly stressed during the meeting.

Sources indicate that US diplomatic efforts, including recent calls between Netanyahu and White House officials, played a pivotal role in the decision. Posts on X reflect sentiment that the move was driven by “massive US pressure,” highlighting tensions between Israel’s security priorities and international demands.

The resumption of aid follows a period of heightened conflict, with Israel launching airstrikes on Gaza in March after Hamas violated a ceasefire agreement. While Netanyahu’s office emphasized that the aid is intended to avert a humanitarian crisis, the decision has reignited debates over balancing security and humanitarian concerns, with nearly 60% of Israelis recently polled supporting continued military action in Gaza.

Those who have never been in Israels shoes, for some unknown reason, believe they have more, wisdom, about this kind of situation than the people living in Israel. The speed at which evil travels in today’s world is going to visit every corner and back street all over the world in a very short time during a seven year period quickly approaching. Those elites pushing their, wisdom, now, will find out it has very little value.
