MembersIs Trump crazy, or is he making everything better?

Is Donald Trump crazy, or has he understood the political world better than everyone else? He places himself above Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, presents himself as a king, pope, or Superman, and casually declares the Strait of Hormuz to be “new US territory.”

What would have seemed like political megalomania in any other American president has long been part of the program with Donald Trump. Some consider him narcissistic and dangerous, others see him as brilliant, entertaining, and finally free from the political correctness that has shaped Western politics for decades. But perhaps both explanations fall short. Because behind Trump’s boundless self-promotion lies a method that fits our time remarkably well: Trump doesn’t explain the world — he stages it. He turns complex geopolitics into a meme, political opponents into comic book characters, and himself into the hero of the story. While diplomats are still polishing their next statement, Trump has already sent his message to millions of people’s smartphones.

And that is precisely why I am less interested in whether Donald Trump is “normal.” Over the past few days, I have collected a whole series of his posts. The longer I looked at them, the more I asked myself: What are we actually seeing here? A president with a gigantic ego? A political entertainer who has turned the...

    Great article!
I see the world in a time of transition, a time we can laugh with others. As time speeds forward, and I do mean, speeds, things are happening that make our heads spin, and we do need to laugh.
I agree, Trump is different than any other president we have ever had, I voted for him three times, more than any other president during my lifetime. Perhaps the Lord is showing us He has a sense of humor in a way we would not have thought possible, and that He is also caring and merciful if we seek Him in these troublesome times.
Thank you for reminding us we can still laugh.

The question I’m left with is: has Trump really helped Israel? What does the whole balance sheet look like? For example, was halting the IDF in Gaza and setting up a Board of peace in Israel’s best interests? Did Trump stop a plan involving the Kurds to topple the Iranian regime at Erdogan’s behest? Was Kushner’s meeting with the Head of Hamas a good idea? These are the more substantial questions about Trump and his involvement in the Middle East. Isn’t this where the serious discussion lies rather than his latest often absurd tweets?

Has Trump really helped Israel? If Biden had still been in office, would Israel have been able to handle all of those missiles, over 300, by themselves? Had Trump not given the order to help, Iran would have flooded Israel with missiles. Biden would not have helped Israel.
I agree, halting the IDF was wrong. But there is another thing going on here, prophecy, if things are going to fast I think the Lord will slow things down. There are more than one thing going on that has the back of Israel, and there is more than one prophecy being brought into play at the same time. Israel needs the rest as a nation, war is a hard thing on the human body and mind. When I came home from Vietnam, my own mother didn’t immediately recognize me, the stress of war is very hard on the human being. Israel is making use of the pause, that is a good thing.
Could the Kurds have brought the Iranian regime down? There would have been much more expense in keeping the Kurds going against the IRGC against whom they may not have been able to defeat. Then the whole region may have become involved, I think the Lord has a better plan that would bring about something that would not have involved millions more people in a regional war.
Turkey becoming involved in the open is showing the plan of the Lord is going to bring a glimpse of His power to the whole world prior to the beginning of the tribulation. Which I think we are at the very edge of with the war Hamas started, the beginning of the tribulation will happen with the peace treaty of seven years Israel will come out of this war with. Hamas will not survive in any way, shape or form.
Trump is an instrument being used whether his ego likes it or not, he is the only one at present who can be used at this time to bring about the thing the Lord wants to happen at the level it needs to happen. What happens to Trump eternally will also be going on, will he totally submit himself to the Lord or will his ego win out and he goes another way? I see many prophecies going on at the same time and I don’t see anyone else stepping in to truly help Israel in this present time, do you?
