US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner joined the crucial Israeli cabinet meeting on President Donald Trump’s Gaza ceasefire plan overnight, and were confronted on its flaws by Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

The cabinet ended up approving the Gaza ceasefire. Ben-Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s Religious Zionism opposed, but said they would not quit the government over the matter.

While Ben-Gvir is like all Israelis happy for the opportunity to recover the hostages being held in Gaza, he believes the deal ultimately serves to set the stage for the next catastrophe and war.

According to Hebrew media, a heated exchange erupted between Ben-Gvir and the Americans.

Ben-Gvir: “I’m standing here next to the list of terrorists being released – baby killers, rapists. Gentlemen, you would never release them in the United States. You spoke about making peace. You can’t make peace with Hamas! They want to kill us.”

Witkoff: “I understand you, but I want to tell you a personal story. I had a child who died of an overdose, and I wanted to kill the family of the person who gave him the drugs. But when I went to court, I saw his parents, who were so ashamed and asked for forgiveness, and I forgave them.”

Ben-Gvir: “Mr. Witkoff, but that is the difference: Those who killed us on October 7 do not ask for forgiveness. Their families are proud of it. They want to murder Jews.”

Kushner: “We made here an agreement that isolates Hamas and makes elements in the Arab world want peace; the agreement preserves Israel’s security. If we need to act with force, we will act with force. Either it will go the easy way, or it will go the hard way.”

Ben-Gvir: “Would you have made peace with Hitler? Hamas is Hitler. They want to kill us.”

Hamas officials have stated a number of times that they will repeat the atrocities of October 7, 2023 if given the opportunity.

On Friday, Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya told Arab media that the group had received an ironclad commitment from the Trump administration that Israel would not resume military operations in Gaza. The meaning was clear: Even if Hamas refuses to disarm in the second phase of Trump’s deal, there’s nothing Israel can do about it.

If Hamas breaks the second part, and they most likely will, Israel will be a sitting duck. The only thing that Israel gains is the hostages. Only true peace will come through our Lord and Saviour.

I believe the final battle of the Ezekiel 38, 39 war is being set up, Israel will again be attacked but the scripture says, “The Lord will rise up in His fury,” and destroy all but one sixth of the attackers, those who survive will return to their homes to tell their people what they saw. Israel will have a seven year peace treaty and will begin building the third temple, the one the Lord will rule the world from.
Those opposing Israel to finish the job they are so close to finishing, will find themselves embroiled in a world war that will make the two in the 20th century look like a minor skirmish. Through it all, Israel, will, build the temple, in peace.
