Alawite minority leaders reportedly appeal to Israel to protect them from the new Sunni jihadist regime in Damascus.
What has been happening in the coastal region of Syria over the last three days is being completely overlooked in the West.
Syria’s new jihadist rulers have reacted angrily, threatening to invade the Jewish state and do to Israelis what Hamas did on Oct. 7.
With Israel on their side, the Druze of southern Syria, and perhaps Lebanon, have hope for a brighter future.

The Assad regime in Syria was affiliated with the Alawite faith. However, the majority of Syrians are Sunni.
While the media portrays Abu Mohammad al-Julani as a hero who will save Syria, it hardly mentions that he contributed to the destruction of the country and killing of thousands.
The land claims of the biblical Davidic dynasty should be given at least as much consideration as those of jihadist Islam.
