The U.S. envoy for Syria said this week that Jerusalem and Damascus are engaged in “meaningful” talks to restore calm to the shared border region.

The Israeli premier stated that the military had neutralized the dual existential threats of Iran’s nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.

The Israeli military is mobilizing ground troops to gain operational control in key areas of the enclave.

“The hardships you endured were severe, and yet you radiate strength and resilience that deserves deep respect,” said Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir.

Since launching “Operation Iron Wall” on Jan. 21, the military has dismantled hundreds of improvised explosive devices and pipe bombs.
