Iran sent Israel a Christmas Day gift in the form of a dramatic video clip showing a military simulation in which the Islamic Republic attacked and destroyed the Jewish state’s only nuclear reactor near the Negev town of Dimona.

The strike, carried out by ballistic missiles and suicide drones, was part of Iran’s annual “Great Prophet” military exercises.

Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the IRGC Air Force had “simulated a missile and drone attack on the Dimona nuclear center using 16 ballistic missiles and five suicide drones, successfully.”

The simulation didn’t appear to include any manner of Israel defenses, which of course there would be.

Iran claimed that the exercise was aimed at halting Israel’s “development of weapons of mass destruction.”

While Israel has never admitted as much, the Jewish state is believed to possess at least several dozen nuclear weapons.
