In recent days and weeks, Israel has clearly shown its enemies that it has all the secret intelligence information it needs to kill the entire leadership of Hezbollah one after the other. The Shiite terrorist militia has enough enemies in Lebanon who are generously helping Israel to get rid of the Hezbollah scourge in Lebanon – Christians, Druze and Sunnis. But in Syria too, Israel knows how to use its enemies to attack other enemies. The vast majority of Syrians are Sunnis, and Iran has become increasingly powerful in the country since the outbreak of the civil war in Syria in 2011. This used to be important and necessary for Assad’s regime, but now Iran and the Shiites in Syria have become too powerful, and that is creating mistrust and enemies. A brilliant opportunity for Israel.
