More and more tourist coming to Israel

Hotel occupancy in Jerusalem grew by an impressive 62 percent in 2017. And this despite the opening of three new large hotels.

The biggest of the new hotels is the Orient Hotel in the German Colony neighborhood. It boasts 243 rooms, compared to just 74 rooms at the new Leonardo Boutique on Prophets Street and 79 rooms at the TRYP by Wyndham Jerusalem Bat Sheva on King George Street.

Overall, the hospitality industry in Jerusalem can look back on a very successful year. This applies to all categories, from luxury hotels to simple hostels catering to backpackers.
