‘Help Us to Slaughter the Americans and Europeans’
It is not uncommon to hear of Muslim clerics appealing to Allah to help jihadists defeat Western forces. What is disconcerting is to realize that often these prayers are being made in the heart of Jerusalem, atop the Temple Mount, ostensibly under Israeli supervision.
Many of these hostile prayers and sermons are televised or uploaded to the Internet. Such was the case when Palestinian cleric Sheikh Nadhal Siam, also known as “Abu Ibrahim,” addressed the faithful at the Al Aqsa Mosque and beseeched Allah to “enable us to slaughter” the Americans and Europeans.
The throngs of gathered Palestinian Muslims enthusiastically replied: “Amen!”
