A Mule Walks Into an Airport…

No, this isn’t the start of a bad joke. A donkey literally walked into Ben Gurion Airport

Sorry folks, this is not a joke. A mule actually did stroll haphazardly into the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv! How a mule found his way into the high security airport terminal is no joke, and security personnel were shocked to find the jackass meandering around the departure hall of Terminal 1, where he walked right through the security screening area!

Some airport officials believe the mule must have escaped a village near the airport and decided to go for a walk through the air-conditioned departure hall during the early hours of the morning.

Others thought they were dreaming since it was in the middle of a quiet night at about 2am. “Ruthie, come quick,” a security employee is heard calling her friend in unbelief in the recording as loud laughter can be heard in the background.

Agriculture Ministry personnel eventually arrived and took the mule outside where he was given food a drink before being taken away to a safe location where airport official could search for the animal’s owner.

Israeli social media was a-buzz with captions for the story.
