Our survey of how Israeli press coverage of Messianic Jews has changed in 37 years continues with part 3, as we look at the particular  language used in Hebrew-language reports, and how this has played an important role in forming public opinion toward those who believe in Yeshua (Jesus).

Even though some articles were not reporting on Messianic Jews in a negative way as such, the headlines at times indicated bias. The newspaper Yediot Ahronot, for example, reported on a  group of ultra-Orthodox Jews entering a private house where Messianic Jews were praying.

First of all, the religious intruders were praying in front of the house loudly, which did not cause the Messianic  believers to stop their meeting. That is when the ultra-Orthodox entered and smashed a flowerpot,  sparking a “sharp exchange of words between the two groups.”
