About two months ago, Israel Today reported on a cartoon war between the Palestinians and Saudi Arabia [See: “Palestinians vs. Saudi Arabia]. This time, a behind-the-scenes advocacy war is taking place between the Palestinians and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the background of the recent humanitarian medical aid they gave the Palestinians.
The story began about three weeks ago when an unmarked cargo plane arrived from the UAE to Ben Gurion Airport in Israel, carrying tens of tons of medical supplies, medicines, ventilators and the like. This was a humanitarian aid aerial shipment to help deal with the coronavirus epidemic. It was sent by the UAE to the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Gaza Strip.
