Orders to assassinate Israeli leaders come all the way from the top in Tehran, as recently revealed.

Iran is increasingly operating within the borders of Israel through its proxies Islamic Jihad, Hamas, and even Hezbollah, which earlier this year carried out a terrorist attack on an Israeli near the Megiddo intersection in northern Israel.

However, it now appears that Iran is also recruiting Israeli Arabs to assassinate Israeli politicians.

These assassination plots were once ordered by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the first leader of the Islamic Republic, as we will see.

 

Murder plots

Israel’s Shin Bet domestic security service revealed on Wednesday, September 27, that it had arrested a number of Israeli Arabs and Palestinian Arabs for planning an assassination on behalf of Iran.

The plot involved the planned assassination of Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Israeli minister for national internal security, and Yehuda Glick, an ultra-right-wing politician.

Glick is no longer a member of the Knesset but is still very active in promoting the right of Jews to pray atop the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
