Bible Quiz Winner Is Top Commando
Colonel T serves in Shayetet 13, an elite naval commando unit of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF). The 40-year-old warrior had taken part in many secret missions and was eventually assigned to serve as second in command of this special operations force.
In his youth, Colonel T studied the Bible seven hours a day, enabling him to take first place in the National Bible Quiz, the much-loved annual competition in Israel. And one success leads to another: The colonel has now been appointed senior commander of his extraordinary unit.
