US President Donald Trump has presented the Iranians with a 15-point draft while also extending his ultimatum for possible strikes on Iranian energy facilities by five days. During that time, talks between the United States and Iran are to take place in Islamabad. Washington will be represented by Vice President JD Vance, after Tehran rejected talks with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner following the failure of earlier contacts.
Meanwhile, the fighting continues. Israel and the United States are pressing ahead with their attacks, while Iran continues to fire ballistic missiles at Israel and countries in the Persian Gulf. Israel is specifically targeting regime facilities, missile positions, and forces belonging to the Basij militia and the Revolutionary Guards.
