Glioblastoma Multiform (GBM) is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, and until now has no cure and is causing tremendous suffering.
A recent discovery by a team of scientists from Tel Aviv University in Israel, however, could finally bring the long-anticipated breakthrough in GBM treatment, as we shall see.
GBM is not a ‘normal’ cancer tumor as it doesn’t grow like a snowball. It literally invades the various spheres of the brain and can even reach the upper spine.
Worldwide more than 300,000 people get the disease every year and in the United States alone more than 10,000 people die from GBM annually.
