
Luc Zbinden of Epalinges, Switzerland came to our attention after he was interviewed on Israeli TV by well-known Israeli journalist Yoav Krakowski. His story provides another spark of hope in which we see how some European Christians stood against the Nazi darkness.
So we reached out to Luc to conduct our own interview to better inform our Israel Today readership about the role Christians played in God’s preservation of the Jewish people in their most difficult hours.
Israel Today: How did this all begin for you?
Luc: This story, perhaps the greatest adventure of my life, began more than 12 years ago with a sentence spoken by one of my aunts and the discovery of a small green notebook in an attic. In the middle of a conversation, my aunt said to me one day:
“Do you know that your grandfather protected Jews during the war?”
