Everyone Is Talking About Israeli Chocolate

Ika Cohen learned the craft of chocolate making from leading French chocolatiers.

She opened her Chocolate Boutiqe in Tel Aviv in 2011 and very soon gained international recognition for introducing local Middle East ingredients into her chocolate products.

Between 2014 – 2016 Cohen won the gold medal at the Chocolate Awards with her “Za’atar Praline”. Last year, Cohen took part in the “Salon du Chocolat” in Paris, the world championship for chocolate and cocoa. She was awarded the “Coup de Coer Award” in the foreign participants category, and in January, the Israeli chocolate master drew crowds of interested people, including many chocolatiers, at a very important chocolate exhibition in Tokyo who wanted to get to know the “chocolates from Israel”. Ika values ​​the use of local raw materials for her chocolates, such as olive oil and Dead Sea salt amongst other ingredients.
