It is with great disappointment that the residents of Jerusalem continue to wait for an express train connection to Tel Aviv.

Construction on the rail line began in 2005, but delays and budget increases have repeatedly postponed its opening. Still, an important milestone was finally reached in September of this year: the portion of the line from Jerusalem to Ben Gurion Airport opened for service.
