    The kingdom was split after Solomon’s death, not because whatever his son did, but because the Lord was angry with Solomon’s sins. It was the Lord who told Solomon that He would split the kingdom as His punishment to him and to his line (1Kings 11:9-13). The reigning sovereign authority of the Holy One of Israel over His people seems completely missing in your article.
