MembersGas Pipeline From Israel to Europe

The European Union has earmarked 34.5 million euros ($42.7 million) for pre-planning and feasibility studies of a gas pipeline from Israel to Europe.

The route of the proposed pipeline runs from the Leviathan gas field off the coast of Israel via Cyprus, Crete and Italy. Whether such a project is feasible will only be decided in 2019. If approved, construction of the pipeline could begin as early as 2021, and would take an estimated four years.
