The US chip manufacturer is already the largest foreign investor in Israel. By 2020, Intel plans to invest another five billion dollars in its facility in the southern Israel town of Kiryat Gat.

Intel plans to use local suppliers for the expansion of the factory, a move that will pump no less than three billion shekels (about $825 million) into the Israeli economy and create at least 250 new jobs.

As antagonists work overtime in their efforts to isolate and boycott Israel, partnerships with leading international corporations like Intel become increasingly valuable. In turn, these companies are able to tap into Israel’s incredible human capital.
