Israeli Soldiers Shoot Down Nazi Flag Hung by Palestinians

Flag was put on electrical wire near Hebron; Nazi symbols often find their way into Palestinian demonstrations

Nazi symbols can often be found in Palestinian demonstrations against Israel, such as when Palestinians burned a Star of David with a Swastika in the center outside a small Jewish village in Samaria last month. Photo: Nasser Ishtayeh/Flash90

Palestinians demonstrating against Israel on Sunday hung a Nazi flag from an electrical wire in the Hebron-area village of Beit Ummar.

A video posted to social media showed a patrol of Israeli soldiers stop and shoot the flag down.

It is not uncommon to see Nazi symbols used by Palestinians in their demonstrations against Israel.

What in most Western nations is a criminal act is seen by the Palestinians as a means of “peaceful protest.”
