MembersJewish Burial Prayers for Christian Heroine

When Adbigah Izbitzkeh died at the age of 93, she was afforded an honor few other Christians experience.

By Ryan Jones |

During World War II, Izbitzkeh helped save many Jews in her native Poland, and she suffered greatly for doing so. Following the war, she was permitted to immigrate to Israel as a “Righteous Among the Nations.” She lived out the rest of her long life in the Tel Aviv area. In recent years, she was “adopted” by local police officers who visited the courageous Christian frequently.
