Recently we reported on a project that helps bereaved families remember their deceased loved ones and celebrate their lives. This is done through books that are each tailored to a lost loved one. You, dear readers, have supported this project through donations and have made the printing of many such books possible.

It is amazing that in the Hebrew language the words ‘shock’ (הלם) and ‘mute’ (אלם) have the same pronunciation and almost the same letters – the shock overwhelms us, no longer lets out the voice, tightens the throat, choking us....
