Israeli firm Aleph Farms has unveiled a new kind of steak that does not come from a slaughtered animal, but is grown in the lab.

Allegedly, there is no tangible difference from a real piece of meat.

A steak is much harder to simulate in the lab than products usually made from ground beef. The Dutch company Mosa Meat already managed to grow a hamburger back in 2013, but it cost $330,000 to develop.
