No one doubts that the population there is starving and living under a tyrannical regime, despite the best efforts of North Korea’s media dictatorship to hide this reality. No one takes the state-run North Korean news agency KCNA (Korean Central News Agency) seriously. And yet, the same rational people swallow everything that the Palestinian media tells them about Israel. Why does a rational person in the West believe the Palestinian media, but not the North Korean media?
According to “Reporters Without Borders,” the Arab countries rank right at the bottom of the list for freedom of the press; the Palestinian territories are number 134 out of 180 countries, with North Korea at the very bottom of the list.
