The vaunted Israeli spy agency Mossad has opened an official Twitter account and the first tweet is: “We have arrived. Now you can follow us, too.”
The account is called “Mossad Career” as part of the agency’s campaign to recruit quality manpower primarily in the fields of technology and cyber security. “If you have a desire to change your career, if you have always dreamt and have not yet dared, we invite you to check out the possibility of joining one of our many career tracks.”
Mossad’s Facebook account and website have also been actively offering job opportunities on various tracks.
Twitter runs another account calling itself “Mossad,” but it is a fictitious, often humorous version that many have mistaken to be the real thing. Mossad’s official Twitter account drew 2,000 followers on its first day.
In their second tweet, the Mossad turned the attention to career opportunities with: “We have jobs that smash glass ceilings, some of which have already been removed.”
Check the tweet below if you’d like to follow the Mossad. The account is in Hebrew, though Twitter will try to translate the posts for you.
