A new shuttle bus will link Ben Gurion Airport to Jerusalem every hour on the hour. It provides an economical transportation option for those needing to get to the capital from the airport or vice versa. Bus number 485 will run 24 hours a day, six days a week (excluding the Sabbath). The price of the ride is only 20 shekels ($5.40), which is much cheaper than a shuttle van costing 80 shekels (about $22) or a private taxi at 280 shekels ($75).
