This is the third and final report in a three-part series about living on the edge of southern Israel. Oren Shalom spoke to Israel Today reporter Peter de Bruijne about his life in the desert community of Moshav Be’er Milka on the Egyptian border.

 

Working in the vineyard, pruning the branches, covering them as protection from the burning sun, nurturing every vine with fresh water. It all reminds me of the Creator. I can better understand what Jesus meant in his Parable of the Vineyard.
