The UN Security Council has adopted the American initiative to deploy an international force in the Gaza Strip. This US proposal is causing serious concern in Jerusalem. The biggest doubt is whether the terrorist organization Hamas will actually be disarmed, even though the resolution explicitly makes that a condition. At the same time, fears are growing in Jerusalem over Article 7, which Israeli experts believe could be used as a back door to establishing a “Palestinian state.” The proposal was submitted to the Security Council by Israel’s closest ally in Washington, so Israel has been extremely careful not to oppose it openly. For the United States it’s a diplomatic breakthrough, for Hamas it’s a shock, and for Israel it’s a moment that brings both hope and deep uncertainty.

Walk with eyes wide open. Is it a surprise that Arab states support this resolution? Ultimately, it is a business deal. Simply watch yesterday’s press conference with Trump and the leader of Saudi Arabia or consider the Qatar air base to be in Idaho.

It’s a good start, however God’s plan holds sway and can’t be determined by the nations. Hamas remains an existential threat to Israel and hightime Israel stops releasing Hamas terrorist back into play.
The Arab nations will not in any way, shape or form give their Arab brothers, Palestinians, a state among themselves, they have no right to say that one should exist in a Jewish nation. Are the Arabic nations that ashamed of their Palestinian brothers?
