MembersTerrorists in Suits

Minister of Strategic Affairs Gilad Erdan published with great fanfare a report titled “Terrorists in Suits,” in which Israel exposed the connections between Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups on one side, and a global network of anti-Israel NGOs–many of them part of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement–on the other.

Erdan highlighted that no fewer than 30 known terrorists now held administrative positions in 13 of these organizations. Twenty of those terrorists have served time in prison for murdering or attempting to murder Israelis. These and other terrorist elements view the NGOs as part and parcel of the overall effort to destroy the State of Israel. Given their protected status internationally, the NGOs can often be more effective in harming Israel than direct acts of violence.

The in-depth survey revealed broad links between these NGOs and recognized terrorist groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad, often in contravention of local laws in the nations where the NGOs are registered. In many cases, these NGOs are actually funneling money to the terror groups, either directly or indirectly.
