This weekend I had a wonderful time visiting my family on Moshav Alon HaGalil, in the north of Israel, near Bethlehem of Galilee. The moshav was established 40 years ago they are about to begin the celebrations, but I enjoyed my own private fun time. We went on a trip to a place called the Blooming Lung where cyclamen, anemones and tulips in all sorts of vibrant colors was a feast for the eyes. We had coffee in a delightful new café in the moshav. What is special about the place is that the moshav staff all work as volunteers the profits are donated to Holocaust survivors, youth at risk, a soup kitchen in the Migdal HaEmek and other exceptional gestures.
Here are some of the pictures I took for your enjoyment.
