Your gift to Omer Edri

This week, thanks to your help, Omer Edri, a little boy evacuated from Sderot, received a computer and can now continue his school lessons via Zoom.

Omer.

Omer Edri lives with his mother Chaya in the southern Israeli city of Sderot. Chaya is divorced and has been a victim of domestic violence her entire life. Chaya and her other children live near the police station in Sderot and were saved from the inferno that raged there on October 7, 2023 by nothing short of a divine miracle.

Since Sderot is very close to the Gaza Strip, and remains under heavy terrorist fire, Chaya and her children were evacuated and are now in state-funded accommodation at the Dead Sea.

They fled the combat zone with little more than what they were carrying. No change of clothes, no belongings. They received used clothing and other everyday items.

But Omer had to return to his school classes and he did NOT have a computer. So he couldn’t attend class.

News of his situation came to us through selfless people trying to help. And thanks to donations from you, our dear readers, we were able to buy Omer a computer. Now he can try to find some kind of routine again, which will also help him recover from his severe trauma.

Thank you for all your help!
