There is no doubt that the Abraham Accords paved the way for normalization between Israel and the Arab world, not only in terms of relations between governments, but between peoples. Technology, social networks and the internet have turned the whole world into one global village. Any event, any photo, any news can reach Syria, Baghdad, Tehran or Riyadh at the push of a button.
The Abraham Accords allowed the Arab peoples to get to know the Jewish people and Israel. But on the topic of the Holocaust, mostly silence mixed with denial. It remains taboo to identify with or feel sorry for the Jews.
For more than 70 years since the establishment of the State of Israel, Arab governments have demonized Israel and the Jewish people. They have brainwashed millions of Arabs through virulent propaganda and have not allowed their children to learn about the Holocaust in schools and even in universities.
