Israel Today has reported (here and here) how differences of opinion and theology had led to an ominous debate among some Israeli Messianic congregations and ministries.
The question was whether the views of the local ministry “Tikkun Israel/Revive Israel” were acceptable – especially regarding modern-day yearning for prophetic and apostolic activity in Israel, as well as a few other theological matters. These discussions and hearings dragged on for four years until on February 4th, 2022 an assembly of congregational representatives voted by a 2 to 1 margin that Tikkun was not beyond the pale of the accepted statement of faith.
