Israelis go to the polls on Tuesday, and everyone is talking about the most fateful election in the Jewish state’s history.
“These elections determine our destiny and our future, the future of our children,” stressed Interim Prime Minister Yair Lapid.
Religious Zionism party leaders Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir described the situation in similar terms: “These elections are perhaps the most fateful since the founding of the state. We are on the brink of turning point and the government will fall into the hands of the right.”
On the left, Merav Michaeli also said that these elections are critical to the future of the State of Israel. “Because of the policies of Smotrich and Ben Gvir, Netanyahu’s colleagues, who are threatening to destroy the house of Israel,” said the leader of the Labor Party.
Opposition leader and Likud head Benjamin Netanyahu likewise insists that these elections are of unprecedented importance...

It is interesting how the left in Israel is, so, much, like the left in the US. Maybe one difference could be in how the left in the US wants to do away with any and all knowledge of the Lord. Boot Him completely out of the country, and ultimately, out of the planet. But, that has been tried many times before throughout history, we all know the results and will again see one more effort to do that.
