MembersTachles with Aviel – Syrian Christians should leave Maalula

The events in Syria are hardly covered in the foreign media. One mainly sees western political efforts to give the new transitional government in Damascus a chance.

After the fall of Bashar al-Assad in Syria, Western states initiated several aid projects. That sounds positive at first, but the crucial question remains: What is actually happening in the country, beyond the conquered palace in Damascus? It seems as if the West is being blinded by the appearance of the Sunni rebel leader and jihadist Mohammed al-Julani in a suit and is losing sight of the real developments in Syria.

Meanwhile, Alawites and former members of the Assad regime and their families are being brutally murdered. I have saved numerous videos, clips, and photos documenting this in my archive. Christians are treated a little more cautiously, as political support and financial help is expected from Western or Christian governments. Support is also expected from Arab governments, but in this case the Sunni transitional government does not have to pretend to have a “fake policy.” Acts of violence such as revenge and slaughter are considered common and accepted in the Arab region and society.

Jews and Christians should believe the scriptures and get as far as possible from Damscus. It is a doomed city. Anyone with any sense should do the same.
