Israel bombed the Hezbollah stronghold of Dahieh in Beirut last night after learning that the terror group was still manufacturing attack drones in the Lebanese capital, a clear violation of the current ceasefire agreement.
Hours prior to the strike, Israel’s Arabic-language spokesman issued evacuation warnings for the four buildings that were targeted and the surrounding areas.
Secondary explosions seen in social media video clips of the attack reveal the presence of Hezbollah weapons.

Looking to get ahead of expected international condemnation, the Israeli military preemptively published an explainer noting that “the Hezbollah aerial unit is operating to produce thousands of UAV’s, with the direction and funding of Iranian terrorists” in preparation for the next round of conflict with Israel.
“These activities,” insisted the IDF, “constitute a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.”
Hezbollah terrorists buried UAV production sites in the heart of a civilian neighborhood in the Dahieh in Beirut, thinking they could hide it and break the rules unnoticed.

The IDF later issued a statement declaring the operation a success. Media reports indicated the airstrike had destroyed hundreds of Hezbollah drones, in addition to the facilities used to produce them.
Attack drones had become Hezbollah’s preferred method of hitting Israel during the current war, with the terror group launching over 1,000 UAVs toward the Jewish state since Oct. 7, 2023.
The IDF stressed that while it took precautions to avoid collateral damage, Hezbollah had deliberately embedded its facilities deep within densely populated civilians areas. “This is another example of Hezbollah’s cynical use of Lebanese civilians as human shields,” said the Israeli military.

Israeli warplanes also struck a workshop in southern Lebanon that was used by Hezbollah to manufacture drones, collect intelligence, and enhance the terrorists’ surveillance capabilities.
