At the end of the Palestine Summit at the United Nations, Israel appears to have suffered a painful defeat. Israel, which began the war on October 7 as a victim of the Hamas attack, now finds itself in problematic territory—with 156 states recognizing the independence of a Palestinian state. Decades of Israeli efforts to prevent such recognition have been undone as a new reality has emerged.
While previously it was mainly non-aligned and Arab states that recognized “Palestine,” now the states of the free world—enlightened democracies with international weight—have spoken: France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Spain, and a series of other EU members—countries referred to in diplomatic jargon as “like-minded.” Not only have they recognized a Palestinian state—they are the ones leading this move at the United Nations.
The assessment is that even the few democracies that have not yet recognized a Palestinian state will do so sooner or later.

What do you mean by this analysis? “Defeat” of Israel and then?? Should Israel give up because so many countries have united in their unholy alliance against the Jewish people and the State of Israel? I don’t understand the purpose of this article at all!
