US President Donald Trump’s speech in the Knesset was pure genius. In a masterfully staged address, the American leader turned the stage into a classroom for political marketing. He created his own reality, distributed strategic praise, and delivered messages perfectly tailored for TikTok. The method is simple: transform a current story into a self-fulfilling prophecy. The mood in Israel after Trump’s speech was electric. Cheers, tears, relief—a nation that had been mired in pain, anger, and grief for two years felt, for a moment, something like hope. Hope for an end to the war. All 20 living hostages are back home. Hope for a turning point in history. For a moment, people believed in miracles again.

But in Israel, we know: euphoria is fleeting, and between hope and disillusionment often lies just a single day. Even now, everything hangs by a thread. Will this new Middle East become reality, or will history repeat itself, with grand visions shattering against reality?

    It was not the same crowd saying “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord,” and the one yelling, “Crucify Him!” The first crowd were the common people who eagerly awaited their Messiah; the second took place in the area where the rich religious leaders lived (those threatened by His words and the fact that the commoners loved Him. One crowd assembled in the day; the other secretly at night.
