While the world commemorates the liberation of Auschwitz, we are witnessing a creeping normalization of symbols that call for annihilation, such as the “red triangle of Hamas.” True remembrance is proven not in retrospect, but in the courage to draw lines where terror propaganda attempts to sneak state legitimacy under the guise of art.
