Spring Desert Hike – Day 3

We are blessed with cooler weather and the opportunity to see this bibical desert receive much needed rainfall

On the third day of our trek through the biblical desert, we are walking from Mitzpe Ramon to Nahal Nekarot, one of the wadis that lead from the Ramon Crater down toward the Aravah Valley. It has become much cooler, the sky is cloudy and a strong wind is blowing. But the whole group is in high spirits and thrilled by the sight of the blooming desert and the water in this otherwise thirsty land.

Tonight we sleep in Ein Geled, and tomorrow, onward to more adventure.
